Calculating your sleep efficiency takes two things into account:

- The time you spend in bed

- The time you actually sleep

We divide the second number by the first and multiply it by 100 to have a percentage!

Example:

If you spend 9 hours in bed but only sleep 7 hours, your sleep efficiency is 78% (7/9 x 100)

Simple, right?
